Hello, My name is Tom Snyder Jr.
I have been racing Inboard Hydroplanes since 1988. I started out in the 2.5 litre stock class, then moved up to the 5 litre class in 1991. In 1994 I started racing in the Grand Prix class until I retired from racing in 2005. The highlight of my racing career was winning the "DYC Silver Cup" in 2003 in Detroit. In 2009, due to all of the new growth in the Grand Prix class, I decided that I had to get back into the class. I am currently building a new Grand Prix boat to race in the 2012 season. I have always loved the photographs from the racing photographers that followed the circuit. I have since taken up racing photography as a hobby. I am still an ameteur photographer, learning as I go, but I am having a lot of fun. I especially enjoy meeting new people at all of the races who also enjoy my pictures. Enjoy!
